Pluck Wine Bar
Cannabis beverages have been on the rise in New Orleans for years, and I’ve been a fan of the whole scene since moving here in late 2024. I think that I’ve tried them all at this point, but my favorite is easily St. Rains, which launched here in the Big Easy after hurricane Helene and then returned its headquarters to Asheville.
When my husband brought home a pack a few months ago, I was introduced to a new kind of cannabis seltzer. Something more artisanal, more intentional, not just something to drink at the bar like a beer but something you’d pair with the right dish or even the right mood. All three flavors are made with organic fruit juice and they’re absolutely delicious.
Here are seven killer spots around New Orleans where you can sip on a St. Rains:

Flour Moon Bagels
457 N Dorgenois St, New Orleans, LA 70119
Wake up easy with some of the best damn bagels around and your favorite flavor of St. Rains at Flour Moon Bagels, a local hot spot that’s always jumping. Enjoy their massive patio or trendy indoor shop that boasts a beautiful bar, massive drink case (including St. Rains and plenty of champagne if that’s your prerogative). I’ve read so much about the hype of this place but am embarrassed to say I hadn’t made it here yet until this visit – well the hype is well earned. Perhaps not hyped enough. Friendly service, fresh flowers, a dog friendly patio – oh yeah, and insanely good bagels whether you’re craving breakfast, or something a little heavier like their Rare Roast Beef sandwich.

Smoke & Honey
3301 Bienville St, New Orleans, LA 70119
Greek street food and Jewish deli fare abound here during the daytime, as the evening transforms it into a magical Greek Taverna. It is a dream for someone like me or anyone that loves Greek flavors and good coffee. Smoke & Honey was not the first place I tried St. Rains, but it is the first place I ordered one out of the house. I hadn’t had one in a while and my first sip reminded me how special it was. I paired it with their gyro platter -swoon. Smoke & Honey had been repeatedly recommended to me before I was willing to make the whole 11 minute trip up to Mid-City a couple of months ago, but damn am I glad I did.

MRB Bar & Kitchen
515 St Philip St, New Orleans, LA 70116
Your neighborhood spot in the French Quarter is serving up moody vibes on the inside and carefree sunshine on its two back patios outside. You can’t NOT have a good time here and it’s the perfect place to go for a quintessential French Quarter experience, where you will find tourists and locals alike. Go for a drink at the bar, a game of pool, or to drink a St. Rains on the patio. Oh, and don’t sleep on the food here – it was just recently named Best Bar Food by Where Y’at Magazine. Chef Dwayne Richards was kind enough to build their insanely good burger for me (complete with pork rinds!) and I’m proud to say I smashed that thing in about two minutes flat after I took photos of it. It paired well with a cold St. Rains Pear Herer.

The Nell Shell and Miss Market at The Batture
25 Walnut St, New Orleans, LA 70118
Have a perfect picnic at the Batture with an ice cold bucket of St. Rains from Miss Market and a truly perfect, buttery lobster roll from The Nell Shell, which you can top with caviar. You can find all kinds of artisanal food treats in Miss Market from olive oils to tinned fish and cheeses. I left with some brie and some salami, both of which I’ve already consumed. My husband was my hand model and co-pilot for this one. We soaked in the sunset, the St. Rains, and the barges going by. PS: The Nell Shell is available for private events, and lobster rolls pair well with a cooler of St. Rains.

Faubourg Wines
2805 St Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117
Faubourg Wines is your friendly and fearless neighborhood wine shop – dark and funky inside in the best way. The focus is small producers from all over the world, and the selection is deep enough that a wine and food nerd could get lost in here for an hour. I did. I also walked out with some soft French cheese that I ate immediately upon arriving home, because they carry a serious lineup of specialty foods alongside the bottles. You can sip a St. Rains here while shopping for charcuterie, which is my dream come true. PS: Wednesday nights are tastings from 5 to 7.

Stein’s Deli
2207 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70130
Nothing beats a cold St. Rains with a legendary Stein’s Deli sandwich. Heaps of fresh sliced meats, killer sauerkraut and condiments, and a case full of every flavor of St. Rains makes this a very, very happy spot for me. They also have a kick ass espresso bar in the front of the building, as well as a quite large selection of fine food products. Dan Stein might even be behind the counter. Hail the sandwich king of New Orleans. Come hungry.

Pluck Wine Bar
722 Girod St, New Orleans, LA 70130
Elegance and an extraordinary wine list await at Pluck, a tucked away gem just off Girod Street in the Warehouse District. Owner Skye LaTorre is a longtime sommelier, and the list she and her team have built is exceptional. Small producers, world class bottles, and good wine at every price point. They were a James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program in 2025 and it shows. Walking in feels like stepping into a proper French bistro where you can really get an education on wine if you talk to your sommeliers. And if you’re not an alcohol drinker but find yourself here, fear not. The Ojai Kush is just a pour away, and it pairs beautifully with many of the things on their delicious menu.

This post was sponsored by St, Rains, a brand I started working with after I shared their product on social media because I liked it.
I love that you’ve not only given me more places to add to my NOLA list, but a new drink, too! Always beautiful photography, Steph.
Ahhh thank you, Ann! You are going to have the BEST time here!!!!
