Brunch at Cabra is Sublime (Chicago)

Cabra is Stephanie Izard‘s new rooftop bar in Chicago and it’s absolutely spectacular. The swanky, Peruvian spot has a fresh feel, creative cocktails and one hell of a brunch. My dad and I had the pleasure of brunching there when we visited last week and I was blown away by both how stunning the restaurant and food is. Here’s a peek at what awaits you at the new brunch hot spot:

The Alpaca My Bags and a Bloody Mary
Grilled Shishitos with panca mayo and chicharrón furikake
Crab Causa with aji potato and avocado
Shrimp-y Brunch-y Tacu Tacu with huancaina omelette and tamarind-tomato
Skirt Saltado with sunny side eggs
Passion Fruit Bellini
Chakana Chelada with aji panca + mango + cusqueña + lime
Black Plantain Waffles with chicharrón pork belly + pickled mango syrup + pork fat butter + pickled mango
