A Peek at Il Nido – West Seattle’s New Bomb Italian Restaurant

June 23, 2019

Il Nido opened a few weeks ago to great anticipation and I’ve been dying to go. Last night, we made it happen. They’re booked out weeks in advance so make a reservation now if you want to dine there anytime soon (or get there super early). We didn’t have one, but we showed up right when they open at 5 and were able to squeeze in a quick dinner in the dining room before they got crazy busy (which it was when we left). We were incredibly impressed with everything Il Nido had to offer – food, ambiance and service were all on point. Here’s a peek inside Mike Easton’s new Italian hot spot:

From the porch entrance to the airy interior, Il Nido is absolutely darling.
house focaccia + olives + Aperol Spritz
chicories salad with anchovy dressing +soft boiled egg + Parmesan
grilled whole trout with pickled rhubarb agrodolce
fazzoletti with morel mushrooms and olive oil poached egg yolk
tiramisu
after dinner artichoke amaro

Hi, this place is very beautiful, at first, I was so excited to eat & drink there and then everything was worth it. I have so much passion for their food & drinks!
