Popchips are my new favorite healthy snack – and they’re the perfect thing for picnic season this year. With a bundle of unique, yummy flavors, these bad boys are good on their own or with a dip! Y’all, I only endorse things I really, really like and that’s the case with popchips (I’m literally eating some as I write this). First off they are SUPER yummy and second of all they’re a great healthy alternative to traditional snack food stuff out there. These guys have no preservatives, no artificial flavors, no synthetic colors and they’re gluten free! And that’s why they’ll be in my picnic basket all summer long!
These chips are made from real potatoes that are popped (through a process with heat and pressure) instead of fried and it makes this very substantial, yummy, healthy popchip! We had a picnic in the park this weekend and we brought along some local goodies and popchips for noshing on. There’s nothing like yummy treats, perfect weather and a Seattle sunset, y’all. I’ll be doing this as much as possible all summer long and I highly recommend it.
Popchips are super sturdy and thus, great for dipping and that’s definitely the way to go with the Sea Salt flavor. I like mine with hummus from Delaurenti in Pike Place Market or a simple herb yogurt dip (we made one with local Ellenos, yum). Dips are a must at summertime gatherings so pick up a couple of your local favorites dips and grab a bag of Sea Salt popchips for the easiest snacking ever! Instant awesome picnic!
Oh, and PS – popchips make an excellent snack on their own anytime on the go! My favorite is the Cheddar & Sour Cream, but the Buffalo Ranch are a close second! They have savory flavors too with their Peanut butter Nutter Puffs and Peanut Butter & Chocolate Nutter Puffs if you’re in the mood for something sweet. Popchips are perfect when you need a little snack in the sun, by the pool, or just on your couch! You can snag some here from Amazon or find out where you can shop them locally here.
