Everything on the Tasting Menus at Adana in September

It’s no secret that Adana is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. I also have the honor and pleasure of helping these guys out with food photography and social media management, which means I get to photograph a lot of their food (literally a dream job for me). At Adana, Chef Shota Nakajima and crew elevate Japanese comfort food in a kaiseki style dining experience with options of three ($37), five ($62) and seven course ($88) tasting menus that change monthly. Here’s a peek at what’s on those tasting menus in September!

Corn Chawanmushi with Dungeness Crab & Stone Fruit
Maitake Tempura with Stone Fruit & Creme Fraiche
Cabbage and Clams with Cream & Dashi
Hamachi Poke with Cherry Tomato, Soy Marinade and Ikura
Octopus with Fingerling Potato and Spicy Aioli
Butter Oyster and Mochi Gnocchi with Mushroom and Charred Soy
Black Cod with Fig, Miso and Mushroom​
Beef Tongue with Yam Two Ways & Eggplant Two Ways
Pork Meatball Soup with Root Vegetables & Miso
In addition to multiple tasting menus, Adana also has a killer bar menu which includes kick ass ramen (offered only on Wednesday night). If you follow me at all on social media, you know how obsessed I am with this ramen and that you will almost always find me at Adana on Wednesdays!
