I had the honor of judging the Bite of Seattle last year which was the first time I came across Stacks Burgers and they’ve been on my radar of all things delicious ever since. Their burgers are bomb, y’all and it’s all about the attention to local, quality ingredients. Their fresh beef patties are made from 100% grassfed, hormone free, never frozen, premium, pasture raised northwest beef from Double R Ranch. Their buns are from another local purveyor, The Essential Baking Company and they use only local produce and Tillamook cheese. Talk about YUM. I recently visited their location in Federal Way to sample as many burgers as I could possibly consume.
Say hello to the the Cry-Fecta and she’s spicy, y’all! It’s a four ounce beef patty, pepper jack, roasted jalapeño, jalapeño aioli, caramel onion, crispy onion strings and arugula. I’m not a huge arugula fan usually but it works well with the heat in this burger. Not recommended for those who don’t like spicy!
This is the Early Bird and it was my favorite. An eight ounce beef patty, bacon, sunny egg, maple bacon aioli, crispy hash brown, and american cheese make this a unique breakfast burger that I can’t get enough of. Savory and sweet come together in a flavor explosion in your mouth. Order this.
Calling all cheesesteak lovers – you need the Burger Cheesesteak at Stacks in your life. Eight ounces of fresh beef, grilled peppers & onions, house made cheese sauce and a fresh baked hoagie roll.
Get it while you can! This is the Stacks Special this month – the Surf N Turf Burger. A four ounce beef patty, house made crab cake, house made tartar sauce, arugula and and lemon aioli make up this mouth watering creation and you can get it for just $10!
Is it sad that my greatest accomplishment in life at this point is having a burger named after myself? Well, it is. Thanks Stacks so much for letting me create my very own burger. This is the Stephanie Forrer: four ounce beef patty, american cheese, avocado spread, bacon, tomato, green leaf lettuce, sweet onion and a fried egg!
Not in the Federal Way hood too often and still need to get your Stacks fix? You’re in luck because they have two food trucks that can usually be found in the 425 area – Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell or Redmond. Follow them on Twitter at @StacksBurgers1 to find out where they’ll be next!
